I USED TO BE AFRAID OF LIGHTNING

Mental Health

I’m still not “crazy” about lightning, but I’m not terrified of it anymore either.

When I was psychotic I hated lightning. I hated it because in my twisted mind I thought that lightning was God’s version of a missile tracking system–talk about torture. I believed that lightning was attracted to the demons that lived in me. I was scared a lot, because I lived in Central Florida, where lightning storms are usually a daily occurrence. So I was scared A LOT, but now I’m not scared anymore and I have progesterone to thank for that. Progesterone stopped my hallucinations and psychosis. And if your hallucinations and psychosis is caused by low progesterone, taking progesterone should help you too. Look into it. x Doris
