What are your goals?

Mental Health

The DBSA (Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance) says identifying life goals is the heart of the recovery process.

When you see a future for yourself, you will become motivated to do all you can to reach that future.

Your goals can be big or small– it doesn’t matter, just set some.

Ask yourself:

What motivates me?
What interests me?
What would I do more if I could?
What do I want?
What do I care about, or what did I care about before my illness?
Where do I want my life to go?
What brings me joy?
What are my dreams and hopes?

Develop goals and dreams and then work towards them.
Don’t let your illness rob you of purpose.
